      Current students and staff members (student on a leave of absence, former students, employees and outsiders are not eligible for membership)

    • Registration procedure

      New memberships are allocated through a drawing on the integrated reservation system (https://urs.kaist.ac.kr). Applications submitted on the integrated reservation system from the 1st day of the month until noon on the second Monday of the month will be entered into the draw. The drawing will take place at 3 pm on the second Monday of each month and results will be notified automatically via e-mail. Information including the schedule for the monthly daw will be announced on the portal and Sports Complex website before the application period for each month.

    • Proof of membership

      Member access may be used only by the holder of the membership; entry is limited to once a day. Present the membership card or mobile membership card at the information desk when entering the fitness center.
      (Members who do not have the membership card with them may enter after verifying their identity at the desk)

  • Information for users
    • Lockers

      Personal lockers may be registered on a monthly basis. Members have to bear the cost of replacement if they lose their key (10,000 KRW per key). Late return fees are charged on a monthly basis after the usage period has expired. The fitness center is not responsible for any items placed in the lockers.

    • Required items

      Indoor gym shoes, bath products.

        Hair dryer, hairbrush, soap (toner and lotion provided in men’s shower room), workout clothes and towel are provided.

    • Re-registration, refunds, deferring membership, transfer of membership
      1. Re-registration (extension of membership)

        Members may extend their membership any time before the expiration date, within 7 days of their last visit.
        Membership may not be extended once 7 days have passed since last visit.
        In such cases, users have to enter the drawing for a new membership.
        (Application period for new membership draw: 1st day of the month - Noon, second Monday of the month)

      2. Refund rules

        Membership contracts of 3 months or longer may be refunded after deducting the number of days used and a 10% cancellation fee. (1 month membership contracts will not be refunded)
        (Refunds) Refunds will not be granted where the number of days remaining is less than 10% of the total contract period.

      3. Deferral of membership

        Membership contracts of 3 months or longer may be deferred up to 1 time where there is a valid reason.
        An Application for Deferral must be submitted in advance when deferring memberships, together with materials proving the reason for deferral (proof of business trip, doctor’s letter, etc.).
        The deferral period may range from a minimum of 7 days to a maximum of 1 month. (1 month membership contracts may not be deferred)

      4. Transfer or loans

        Memberships may not be transferred or loaned.
        Any member found transferring or loaning their membership card may be restricted from using the fitness center or lose their membership.

  • Notes for users
    • Member access is limited to the holder of the membership and can only be used once per day.
    • The jogging track on the 3rd floor may be used while wearing the workout clothes provided by the fitness center, but not the main arena.
    • Last entry is 30 minutes before the closing time. (Lights out at closing time)
